An AI receptionist for nail salons that answers while your hands are in gel.
Salonity Concierge picks up on your salon's number, in the client's own language, books her with the tech she asked for, texts her the time, and shows you how every call went.
Independent stylists from $149/month • Salon plans priced after a setup call
TL;DR
- Nobody in a nail salon can pick up a phone mid-gel. The concierge answers on your number, in the client's own language, and books her with the tech she asked for.
- She gets a text with the time and the tech. You get the recording, the words and the outcome of every call.
- At the end of the week you see how full each tech's book was, and which calls slipped away and why.
Friday, 4:15, every lamp on
You have a client's left hand under the lamp and her right hand in yours. Three stations over, the same. The phone at the front rings, and everyone looks at it, and nobody moves, because nobody can. It rings out. Whoever that was wanted a Saturday set, and Saturday sets are the ones that fill your week.
The nail salon phone has a second problem. Many of your clients would rather speak Vietnamese, or Spanish, or another language, and only one or two people in the salon can take that call. If she is mid-set, the caller hears "one moment" in a language she did not call in, and hangs up. That call never shows up anywhere. You only know it happened because Saturday had a gap.
Salonity Concierge answers on the number your clients already call, in the client's own language. She asks for a gel full set with Linh on Saturday; it finds Linh's next opening, books it, and texts her the time and the address before she hangs up. If she needs a repair looked at first, the call comes to you with a note on why. Afterwards you can read what she asked for in ten seconds, in the call list, with the recording next to it.
The phone in a nail salon
A client's hand in yours
Gel half cured, lamp on. You are not touching a phone, and she knows it.
Six techs, one phone
When everyone is working, the phone belongs to no one. It rings until it stops.
She asks in Vietnamese, or Spanish
The one person who could answer her is mid-set. She hears "hold on" and hangs up.
Moves and cancellations
A client who cannot reach you to move her time often just does not come.
Someone picks up. Your hands stay where they are.
Salonity Concierge answers the call, books the client with the right tech, texts her the confirmation, and tells you what happened. Nobody has to peel off a glove.
What it does for a nail salon
Answers while your hands are busy
Mid-gel, mid-pedicure, at closing. Live on the number your clients already call.
In the client's own language
A client who calls in Vietnamese or Spanish is answered that way and booked that way.
Books with the tech she asked for
Gel full set with Linh on Friday. It finds Linh's next opening and books it while she is on the line.
Texts the confirmation
Time, tech, address. On her phone before she hangs up.
Passes a call to a person
A nail repair that needs a look, a question about a design: it goes to you, with a note on why.
You see every call and every tech
Recording, words, summary, outcome. Next to it, how full each tech's book is this week.
What the owner sees at the end of the day
One screen with every call and its outcome, and next to it, each tech's book. The names below are an example of what an owner sees, not anyone's real data.
- Booked. New client, called in Vietnamese, gel full set with Linh. Saturday 1:00. Confirmation texted.
- Rebooked. Regular moved her Thursday pedicure to Friday 5:30 with Mai.
- Went to you. Asked whether a lifted acrylic could be repaired today. You called her back.
- Slipped away. Asked the price of a dip set, hung up after hearing it.
The calls that slipped away are the point. Nobody tells you about the client who hung up on a price, or the one who got "hold on" in the wrong language. Now they are lines on a screen, with the reason, and you can decide what to do about them. The rest of the owner's screen is on the reporting page; what happens on a call, step by step, is on the phone concierge page.
It is a voice, not a person at the desk, and we do not pretend otherwise. At one busy Los Angeles salon it has answered and summarized more than 870 calls so far; every one can be played back.
Nail Salon FAQs
My techs cannot touch a phone mid-gel. Who answers?
The concierge does, on the number your clients already call. It answers, books the appointment with the tech the client asked for, and texts her the confirmation. Your techs find out afterwards, in the book and in the call list.
Many of my clients would rather speak Vietnamese or Spanish. Does it?
It answers each client in her own language. Vietnamese and Spanish are two examples; we set up your clients' languages with you when we onboard your salon. A client who calls in Vietnamese is greeted and booked in Vietnamese.
Can it book with a specific technician?
Yes. It knows each tech's book, books the client with the one she asked for, and offers that tech's next opening if the time she wanted is taken.
What happens when a caller asks for a price?
It answers from the services and prices you set up with us on the setup call. If she books, you see it. If she hangs up after hearing the price, you see that too, marked slipped away with the reason, so you know it happened.
Do I need a new phone number?
No. It goes live on the number your clients already call.
Can I hear what was said?
Yes. Every call is recorded and written out, with a short summary and how it ended: booked, handed to a person, or slipped away.
How is it set up?
On a half-hour call with our engineer: your services, your techs, your hours, your clients' languages. Only the parts you want are switched on. Independent nail techs start from $149 a month; salon plans are priced after the call.
